Welcome to First in the Pack!

The First in the Pack Program, a campus partnership coordinated by the staff in SSS/SSS STEM, provides first-generation college students opportunities for academic, professional, and personal growth by highlighting the unique social capital first-generation college students bring into the university.  As a campus wide initiative, the program seeks to provide opportunities for first-generation students to build relationships with faculty and professional staff who can help facilitate students’ academic, professional, and personal development.  Through various campus events and programs, First in the Pack will assist students in creating connections with other first-generation students on campus.
