Academic Advising Programs and Services

Find help with major selection and career exploration at Academic Advising Programs and Services. 

Student Leadership and Engagement

Connect with opportunities such as Alternative Service Break (ASB), leadership development workshops, and service initiatives focused on local, national, and global social justice issues. Learn how Student Leadership and Engagement helps students become ethical and effective leaders, activists, volunteers, philanthropists, engaged citizens, researchers, and social innovators. 

Disability Resources Office

Register with the Disability Resources Office (DRO) in order to request accommodations like note-taking, accessible classroom locations, captioning, lab assistance, and more. 

Library Resources

Locate publications online, check out books, find a place to study, make copies, and borrow technology like laptops and cameras. NC State has multiple library locations, the primary two being D.H. Hill Library on main campus and Hunt Library on Centennial Campus. 

Career Development Center

Explore your career planning process through the Career Development Center (CDC). They offer personality assessments, resume reviews, interview preparation, and offer the Wolfpack Styled Professional Clothing Closet, a resource providing students with professional clothing necessary for interviews, career fairs, and conferences. 

Office of Information Technology

Access help for your computer, email, internet, and other technology services by visiting the Office of Information Technology (OIT). 

Study Abroad

Learn about opportunities to study abroad and earn college credit while traveling globally. Study Abroad helps with individual advising, selecting a program, financial planning, scholarship opportunities, and registration coordination, and more. 

Student Involvement

Engage on campus through joining Student Government (SG), University Activities Board (UAB), or one of the over 700 student organizations on campus. Student Involvement provides opportunities to create memorable involvement experiences on campus. 

Academic Success Center

Get tutoring for many chemistry, physics and math courses, and receive help on writing papers. ASC services are available to students free of additional costs.
